Late Night Blog

Well, I'm being moved from dishes to pantry, can't really complain. That just means more money, more opportunity and more time to improve my skills. Granted it's like, 3am, and I really should be sleeping. But eh, I have better idea, namely moving on to bigger and grander things gradually. I think some restaurant madness is afoot in my future, so, farewell, readers.

New job!

I'm amazed, I started my job at a restaurant in Waltham, and I was AMAZED by the communication and swiftness of the cooks. I spent around an hour standing around, frankly, but after that, I was running around like a madman. I made pizzas for a bit, relearning my ability to stretch dough, and decorate pizza. But, regardless, I had a crazy night of running around.

Dishes. Oh how I love you. I love easy money, I mean, c'mon, who doesn't? Anyone who's smart enough to know that dishes=the easiest job ever can agree. I love doing dishes, because A) I'm freakishly good at it, I did it for two years, and B) ...easy money.

Pizza... chaos, haste, efficiency and smarts. It's not as easy as one might think. Making a perfect pie is, well, difficult. I think that it takes a lot of finesse and cunning to make even three pizzas quickly. When the orders rack up, and you're in the weeds, panic is inevitable. But remaining calm, and keeping your head is the most important thing I can think of.

Well, that's all for now. I'll keep you posted on my future endeavors, dear readers.
